Blowing out the candles....

at our new friend's 4th birthday party (annie, notice his fashionable use of the helmet). These folks have just come back from several years in Bangladesh and Mark loves to play with Emmett. Very fun. Posted by Picasa

Here I am....

Tired, but loving this summer, these boys, my work at Viva, spending time with Annie and Wayne. We've had a series of perfect weather days that make up for the brutal heat and humidity that came before. Nothing like eating fresh, local watermelon on Adirondack chairs! Posted by Picasa

An evening of Blueberry picking

Fisher, the child who will eat anything, will not eat blueberries. Mark, the kid who eats almost nothing, would live on them given a chance. But though Fish won't eat them, he loved picking them...and then tried to put each berry back on the branch. Posted by Picasa

Here comes the Birthday cake!

After a nice birthday weekend with the Warnkens, Fisher had a small birthday party (unfortunately Wayne had an intense on-call weekend while his parents were here and over Fisher's b-day). Because of time, we couldn't eat the cake with grandma and grandpa Warnken on Fisher's b-day, so we saved it for the party. It was a hit, especially with the birthday boy. Posted by Picasa
